Terms and Conditions for 605 Yard Party Rental (605YPR)
Quotes and estimates do not guarantee availability of rental items. Items are considered reserved only when a 25% non-refundable deposit is made and a valid credit card is on-file. The deposit is applied to the total of the rental.
All rental fees must be paid in full a minimum of 7 days prior to your event date. Upon delivery, the renter should agree that the rental is identical to the items rented. Discrepancies should be identified prior to 605YPR staff leaving the delivery area.
CANCELLATIONS
Cancellation Fee is 25% of total order if more than 7 days out. Cancellation Fee is 50% of total order if 3-6 days prior to delivery. No refund will be given if cancelled within 48 hours of delivery.
PAYMENT
Payment can be made with cash, check, or credit card. A valid credit card must be kept on file in the event of post-use charges. The renter authorizes 605YPR to charge the credit card on file for the remaining balance due for their rental services, as well as any additional charges that may be incurred, including but not limited to, cleaning fees, replacement costs for damaged or lost items, and any other fees as outlined in this contract. The renter agrees that 605YPR may process these charges without further notice or consent, ensuring timely and efficient settlement of all outstanding amounts. This authorization remains in effect until all charges related to the Customer’s rental have been fully paid.
DELIVERY
Delivery is free within 5 miles of the center of Rapid City (Main Street Square, 512 Main Street). Delivery outside of the 5-mile radius will incur additional delivery charges. Additional delivery charges may be added due to the location requested (upstairs, 2nd+ floors, large backyards, utilizing elevator/escalators, etc.) For safety reasons, 605YPR will not deliver items inside of a residence.
SET-UP/TEARDOWN
Set-up and teardown services are available, but the service needs to be requested ahead of time. Additional fees will be required.
RENTAL PROTECTION PLAN
A 10% Rental Protection Plan (RPP) charge will be automatically added to the reservation, unless declined prior to final payment made. This covers the first $150 of damage and up to 50% of the remaining costs. The renter will be liable for the remaining 50% of the repair/replacement costs. This is not insurance. The renter will be liable for 100% of any damage if the protection plan is denied. Even with the protection plan, damage or loss due to burglary, theft, conversion, misuse, abuse, intentional or negligent damage or destruction, or similar causes remain the renter’s responsibility. 605YPR reserves the right to charge the renter’s credit card on file for any damage or losses to the rented items.
CANOPIES
The renter shall ensure that any underground items are properly identified prior to installation. 605YPR will not be held responsible for any damage done to underground items (sprinklers, utilities, etc.) not identified. Renter is encouraged to call 511 for assistance if needed. Canopies should not be used in winds greater than 20mph. Any damage done is the responsibility of the renter.
REFUNDS
No refunds will be issued for any unused rental items.
LIABILITY WAIVER
The renter agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless 605YPR, its employees, agents, and subsidiaries from and against all claims, liabilities, losses, damages to property or personal injury, and expenses of every character whatsoever, resulting from the actions, negligent or otherwise, of 605YPR or its agents, employees, or subcontractors, or anyone acting on 605YPR’s behalf.
